Process Engineer

Short description

Are you a Process Engineer who gets energy from large and small new construction projects and are you always up to date with the latest laws and regulations in your field? Can you advise different departments within an organization on this? Then this job is for you!

Where will you be working?

As a Process Engineer, you increase the reliability and availability of the technical installation. You are also frequently involved in new construction projects that take place at one of the Chane terminals.

Representative activities

  • Providing Engineering support to the entire Chane group from the central Engineering organization.
  • The responsibilities of the Engineering department are in the areas of Process Engineering, Process Automation and Machanical Engineering.
  • Support is given to the Termimal and Process Operations, Business Development, Projects Department and customer questions.
  • The Operations, Automation, HSEQ and Projects departments are the main internal customers you work with.
  • Safety reviews such as danger zone classification, fire safety, Relief and Blowdown, Facility siting, HAZOPs often play a role in this.


  • Completed study in engineering in one of the aforementioned disciplines at least HBO level;
  • At least 3 years of experience;
  • Demonstrable experience with hazard identification, risk analyses and assessment methodologies;
  • Excellent knowledge of the current industry standard and best available techniques in process safety.
