Short description

For our largest terminals (Botlek and Nieuwe Maasweg - together business unit Green), we are looking for 2 work planners e&i. Do you have extensive knowledge of e&i within the industry, do you like to work together in a friendly team and are you strong in planning and organizing? Then read on!

Where will you be working?

The Maintenance department is responsible for monitoring the technical integrity of our installations. We focus on preparing, planning, executing and monitoring preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and minor modifications. Collaboration with the central Asset Integrity Management department is essential, as they offer expertise and capacity in the areas of Reliability Engineering, Discipline Engineering, inspection, document and data management. 

In a fast-growing organization, the focus is on collaboration, improvement and standardization. Within the position, you have many stakeholders such as operations, customer care, contractors and suppliers. You know how to draw up the right planning and process it in work packages. In this position, you will often be in the field recording and discussing work. 

Representative activities

  • Clustering of work orders to optimize the technical availability of the installations, streamline the deployment of resources and resources, and ensure the safe execution of operations.
  • Agreeing and coordinating the planning M&R with the Operational Department, Customer Services (CCC) and HSE.
  • Informing and confirming the planning to the contractors and the start of the work.
  • Monitor planning and ensure efficient use of resources and resources.
  • Evaluating the consequences of clustering activities for HSE and, if necessary, having a task risk analysis carried out for clustered activities.
  • Identifying bottlenecks in the maintenance process (work preparation, planning, execution) and bringing them to the attention of maintenance management.
  • Planning the deployment of (Field) Supervisors for specific tasks.
  • Coordination of roadblocks/excavation work, so that the terminal remains sufficiently accessible at all times.


  • A completed MBO education in a technical direction, preferably in the direction of e&i.
  • Knowledge of ATEX and NEN3140/-3840
  • You are able to read and understand technical and process documentation (documentation, drawings, etc.) and apply this knowledge in daily activities.
  • The drive to work together, to pick up opportunities for improvement and ownership.
