Maintenance Supervisor Mechanical

For this position, we are looking for an experienced supervisor who will take the next step with our maintenance organization. Together with the team, you will take care of preventive and corrective maintenance. Where will you be working?

The responsibility of the Maintenance department is to monitor the technical integrity of the installation. To this end, the focus is on preparing, planning, executing and monitoring preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and minor modifications. To this end, the department works closely with the central Asset Integrity Management department, where expertise and capacity in the areas of Reliability, Discipline Engineering, inspection, and document and data control is available. The department plays an essential role in internal and external audits by customers and/or governments.

As a Maintenance Supervisor Mechanical at Chane, you will play an essential role in coordinating and optimising the operational processes within our terminal company. You report to the local Maintenance Team Leader. Furthermore, you supervise the safe, efficient and effective execution of work assignments according to the scope of the assignment and applicable procedures and guidelines (including permits), including transfer to the internal customer. You are part of running call-out shifts.

Representative activities

  • Supporting work preparation for failure analysis.
  • Providing the necessary input to the work planner at work order level.
  • Execution of high priority (0 and 1) work orders without work package.
  • Supervision of performers during work.
  • Controlling and supervising the quality, progress and execution of work.
  • Checking completed work upon completion of work and signing off control documents.
  • Checking the deployment of people and resources in accordance with agreements.
  • Signing off on work carried out in Maximo, including submitting received documentation to work preparation.
  • Create, activate and deregister work permits at PTW, including guidance on starting work in the field.
  • If applicable: takeover of the OPS installation after decommissioning and securing.
  • Handover of installation/work to internal customer (OPS), including commissioning support / commissioning of the orders for the execution of the work, including registration in systems.
  • Carrying out work in accordance with the prepared work package.
  • Failure analysis and resolution.


  • MBO 4 training in mechanical;
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar position;
