Do you want to be part of our dynamic Customer Care Center and make a valuable contribution to the interaction between our terminals and customers? At Chane Terminal Botlek we have an exciting opportunity available for a  Customer Care Officer to join our team.

Where will you be working?

The Customer Care Center department is central to the organization; You regularly coordinate with your colleagues from Planning, Operations, Commerce, HSEQ and Technology. This coordination is essential for the daily contact with our customers at the terminal. Your colleagues in the team also work standby shifts, with Chane Terminal Botlek available to customers and colleagues outside office hours. Your willingness to take over a service on an occasional basis is requested. This is a week in which you are available for customers and colleagues outside office hours. There is a fee for this. We work in the department in three time blocks, so that we are always available to our customers.

Representative activities

As a Customer Care  Officer, you will take care of the administrative operational processing of orders and periodic reports for our customers on a daily basis. By phone and e-mail, you maintain close contact with customers about nominations, planning and reports. For periodic operational reviews, you visit the customer on a regular basis. In addition to that, you will play an important role in coordinating and optimizing the customer experience within our terminal company.


  • HBO working and thinking level;
  • A hands-on mentality and initiative;
  • Experience with customer communication in a B2B environment;
  • Affinity with data analysis (and its processing);
  • Good communication skills in Dutch and English;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
  • Experience in tank storage is an advantage.
